Clinical and Surgical Support

Two primary clinics in BC offer clinical guidance and surgical support to women who are BRCA-positive. For eligible women, BC offers a High-Risk Clinic, which assists women with screening and referrals related to cancer prevention and risk management. For women at elevated risk of cancer or who have already been diagnosed with cancer and are facing the prospect of surgical menopause or other hormone management needs, BC also offers the Gynecologic Cancer Prevention and Survivorship Clinic. This clinic primarily provides advice, support, hormone testing, and prescription services to women, with a focus on managing the quality of life issues that can affect those at elevated cancer risk, or those undergoing or having already received prior gynecologic cancer treatment or surgeries.
